UNSW Hyperloop

Breaking a pod, UNSW style.

Hyperloop is a revolutionary idea for the transport sector, first proposed by Elon Musk in 2013, that enables faster ground transportation. By depressurising a tube to reduce air resistance, pods can travel at extraordinary speeds, in excess of 1000km/h. UNSW Hyperloop is a team consisting of UNSW Engineering students with the goal to create a pod that will be fast... very fast.

Teams from around the world will develop pods and compete to see which can travel the fastest down a mile long vacuum tube at SpaceX's headquarters in Hawthorne, CA.
